7-Switch Plate

Hello, Have I got the product for you XJ/Cherokee lovers. With the invention of the LED light bars and other cool accessories such as winches and lockers, there has developed a need for somewhere to put all those switches.  As I added many LED lights to my 2000 XJ, I looked around to find out what others were doing to mount their switches.  When nothing seemed like a viable solution, and I didn't want to cut into the dash, I looked to make my own.  It was quite a process to figure all of the angles and dimensions, but in the end, I found a satisfying solution. Granted, it does take a bit of finessing to get the cover back on, but it is pretty simple.  It is sturdy and the tolerances are tight so it makes for a clean finished look and feel.  7-Switches to replace the stock switch location. I did end up making a panel that can hold 11 switches plus 3 small button switches, if you are interested, send me an email.
Once I decided on what switches I needed and got those.  I went to otrattw.net for a large assortment. I also used one of the switch slots to put in a USB Power Hub instead of the cigarette port since that is mostly what I used there anyway. I just put a 12v port under the passenger seat to power 12v items.  I don't know about you, but my Cherokee's hatchback wiring harness had severed the wires over time and my rear wiper and defroster doesn't work anyway, so had no more need for those switches.  If you have been lucky enough to have one that doesn't have this problem, you can always put in those switches to keep the option.  There is a world of options for a 7-switch plate...YOU DECIDE!  These are bare metal so you can paint to suit your needs.  Let me know if you have any questions.
